Follow-up appointments
A follow-up takes 10-15 minutes. We assess the development and position and listen to the baby’s heart. We check your weight and blood pressure again and take this opportunity to discuss how you (and your partner) are doing and which service you would prefer.
During your pregnancy you will come to our practice around 14 times, with the frequency increasing as the pregnancy progresses. If we believe it necessary, or you would prefer it, we can plan an extra appointment. During these appointments you will meet all our midwives, but if you prefer to see a smaller team that is also possible. Family and friends are always welcome to accompany you.
