Who we are
Our team consists of eight midwives. Throughout your pregnancy you will get to know us all. When it’s time for labor and delivery the midwife on call will assist you.
During holidays, maternity leaves or illness of a midwife you may meet a substitute.
Substitutes working in our practice because of illness, holidays and/or leaves of absence of our midwives can be found in the News section of our website.
Several weeks per year our practice accommodates a student midwife. Under our supervision (s)he will take on part of your care. Should you object to this you may of course let us know.
We are part of the KNOV (translated: Royal Dutch Organization of Midwives, www.knov.nl

Do you have a complaint? Let us know!
1. Discuss your complaint with your midwife
Being pregnant is exciting. That's why we do everything we can to guide you and your child well. It is important that you can feel comfortable and safe with your midwife. Do you have any questions? Doubts? Are you dissatisfied about something? Tell us! Preferably as soon as possible. Then we can talk about it together and we try to act quickly upon it. Maybe we can get rid of a misunderstanding, reassure you or start working in a way that makes you feel more comfortable.
We are happy to make an additional appointment with you and schedule sufficient time to talk. You are always welcome to take someone you trust for support.
2. Involve a complaints officer
Would you like to know more about your rights or would you like advice? Do you want to discuss your complaint with someone else first? Or do you like it when someone helps you to file a complaint? Then contact the complaints officer.
The complaints officers are impartial. They discuss with you about what you are dissatisfied with and what you would like to achieve with your complaint. They advise you what you can do. They also help you to engage with us if you find this difficult, or to write a letter concerning the complaint. The complaints officer can help you and us to find a solution together. Everything you share with the complaints officer is confidential.
